Tyler Keevil's Writing Room

'Memory is the way we keep telling ourselves our stories - and telling other people a somewhat different version of our stories.' - Alice Munro

Tyler Keevil is an award-winning writer from Vancouver, Canada.  He is the author of three novels - Fireball, The Drive, and No Good Brother - and the short story collection, Burrard Inlet.

We're going the distance, we're going for speed...

The green flag is waving today and The Drive is entering the publication race...possibly signalling the end of my lame little driving puns and double entendres, but probably not.  Either way, we had a great launch in Bloomsbury on Tuesday evening, courtesy of Corinne Pearlman.  Without getting all gushy I did want to thank everybody who came, because Fayette and I had an amazing turnout and a super-receptive crowd.  It was also my chance to meet a lot of the people who contributed to the project, including Linda McQueen, copy-editor extraordinaire, and Anna Morrison, who designed the cover.  Holly and I have been tossing ideas around regarding printing up some Drive t-shirts for charity, using Anna's awesome artwork, so watch this space.
