The Good Life Experience

This weekend, Tyler and crew will be heading up to Flintshire to attend, and take part in, The Good Life Experience - the festival 'like no other' founded by Cerys Matthews, Steve Abbott, and Charlie & Caroline Gladstone.  The family-friendly festival includes an eclectic range of events, from music and literary readings to axe-throwing and tree climbing.  Tyler's event takes place on Sunday at 1.30 pm, on the Caught By The River stage.  Weekend tickets are still available for adults, and kids up to 11 go free - so if you're not ready to let go of summer yet, and fancy a trip, maybe we'll see you there.  You can check out some of the stellar line-up below...

Chapel Lates Events at Cheltenham Music Festival

This week, following on from a recent event at the Cheltenham Poetry Festival, Tyler is once again stepping outside his comfort zone, and presenting at a spoken word event, Chapel Lates, as part of the Cheltenham Music Festival.  Here's hoping he can represent the novelists and hold his own among the flash fiction readers and spoken word artists, in what's shaping up to be an amazing line-up.  The music-themed event takes place at 9 p.m. on Wednesday at Chapel Arts; entrance is free so come along, have a beverage, and enjoy the performances!

Hay Festival Writers at Work Reading

Last year Tyler was fortunate enough to be part of a new residency programme at the Hay Literature Festival, called Writers at Work.  He and a group of other Wales-based authors took part in a week of seminars, workshops, and talks on the craft, coordinated and organized by author Tiffany Murray.  This year, Writers at Work is back.  The majority of the team are already on site, and tomorrow Tyler will be joining them for a series of events, including one that's open to the public: a Writers At Work reading at 4 p.m., in which Tyler will read alongside Alys Conran, Sian Northey, Ben Smith, Rebecca Parfitt, and Robin Ganderton.  The event takes place in the Writers at Work tent (top right on the Hay map) and should be a lot of fun.  If you're at the festival, come along to check it out!
