Tyler Keevil's Writing Room

Tyler Keevil is an award-winning writer from Vancouver who now lives in Wales.  His most recent novel is the literary thriller Your Still Beating Heart.

Pyramid Scheme III: Lit & Licks

This Friday (April 10th) Tyler will be returning to Cardiff for the latest Pyramid Scheme reading event.  These eclectic and increasingly legendary sessions are organized by ex-adman turned novelist Dan Tyte, and short story author Richard Owain Roberts, both of whom will be strutting their literary stuff on the night.  Also appearing are Erin Mathias, Ashleigh Alexandria, and Marc Thomas.  Throw in some craft beers from The Gravity Station, and Sex Disco DJ's, and you can see why the night is shaping up to be a memorable one.  Things kick off at 7.30 p.m. at Little Man Coffee Co. and there are rumours of an after-party, or parties, elsewhere in the Welsh capital...

New Welsh Short Stories Launch

This month, Seren is launching its much-anticipated anthology New Welsh Short Stories.  It features a brilliant selection of contributors, including Deborah Kay Davies, Stevie Davies, Cynan Jones, Owen Sheers, and Rachel Trezise.  Tyler's contribution to the book is a new story entitled 'Night Start.'   He and many of the other authors will be at the Chapter Arts Centre in Cardiff this Wednesday (April 8th) for the first in a series of launch events and readings.  The evening starts at 7 p.m., so if you're in the area, come along and enjoy the wine and readings!
