Tyler Keevil's Writing Room

'Memory is the way we keep telling ourselves our stories - and telling other people a somewhat different version of our stories.' - Alice Munro

Tyler Keevil is an award-winning writer from Vancouver, Canada.  He is the author of three novels - Fireball, The Drive, and No Good Brother - and the short story collection, Burrard Inlet.

The No Good Brother(s) Tour 2018

To celebrate the launch of Tyler's new novel, No Good Brother (The Borough Press / HarperCollins, 2018) Tyler is teaming up with his brother Jonathan Keevil, a musician and filmmaker who composed the soundtrack for the indie film Bellflower, an official selection at the Sundance Film Festival.  Throughout April, the two brothers are touring an event centred around the novel across Wales and the Southwest.  The story is a rip-roaring tale of ‘loyalty, love, danger and family’ – and the evening blends music, dramatized readings, and discussion of the book’s creation, in a lively and entertaining literary roadshow.

The full tour dates are displayed on the poster below.  The majority of events are free, but some are ticketed - including the gigs in Cardigan, Abergavenny, and Aberystwyth.  Links and contact details for the venues, along with the logos of our sponsors (to whom we're hugely grateful) can be found at the bottom of the page.  Come along to one of the gigs - it's shaping up to be the literary event of the season!
